CH 401 swage dies bullet ejector

Ch has the bullet ejectors for the 401 swage die sets in stock
they do not list them on the web site but they are available they are just a little bit over $50.00
don't know how much inventory they have because the man said it has been a long time
since they did a production run

I've got a couple of them, and I hope they redesigned them from the ones I have. I also had a friend build a similar one, only we beefed up all the bearing parts to keep it from breaking. They are better than beating on the die with a mallet, though.

    Hope this helps.

I got an ejector assembly a few years ago. It was a leftover and didn't work very well. I went back to using a dead-blow mallet. With a smidge of lube, ejecting boolits become much less of a chore, typically a faint film of pan spray coating. I thought of building one for use on the turret press utilizing the 7/8-14 hole on the opposite side of the turret, a couple of pieces of linkage/pivot pins, and a long handle a good bit longer than the one in the kit I got. It's still in the good idea stage at this point, though.

Say, anybody know if CH Tools still makes swage dies? I don't see anything on the website about it anymore. I left voicemail, but haven't heard back.

I prefer BT Sniper's version of the ejector.
One of the things I have found saves the ejection pin from bending is to apply very slow pressure on the ejecting bullet until the suction in the die is relieved. You cannot do that with a mallet.
