I've gotten a hankering for a set of 44-40 dies for the 310 tool (like the two brand new, in the box sets I sold 10 years ago) to use with my Navy Arms/Uberti Henry rifle. I've got a "modern" set of 7/8X14 dies for it, but this caliber just screams out for some old fashioned tong tool reloading! Anybody got a set they want to swap?

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

Priming chamber #17 for 33 Winchester has been traded.

Priming chamber #25 has been traded. I still don't know what #21 and #27 are used for.

What is the difference between a shell holder and a shell adapter? Is the #2 shell adapter the style for a Tru line Jr?

I think the shell adaptor that he is referring to is the little threaded ring that screws into the hole of a set of 310 handles to adapt them to cases of different body diameters.

The shell adapters are for the 310 Tong Handles, the shell holders are for the presses - TL Jr, AA Turret, Comet ....

So ... I have a friend that would like to learn to reload 45acp on a Tru Line Jr press. It takes a #2 shell holder, should he wish to use a tong tool he would need a #2 adapter AND a #2 shell holder? or just the adapter

Shell Holders are for the presses and Shell Adapters are for the Tong Tools.

For the 45 ACP you will need #2 "J" shell holder to fit the Tru-Line Jr Press. Just an FYI, for the 45 ACP you will need #7 shell adapter to fit the Tong Handle.

    No.
375 H&H uses Large handles and 22 Hornet uses Small handles.
