Ruger Super Redhawk 480 Ruger Target Grey 7.5"

I got a gift for Christmas this baby fat, while i'm trying to find another Burris 2-7x32, i installed a Burris 4x with parallax correction that i had on the Ruger Mark II Bull Barel 10 "22LR.

I consulted many forums to understandout how to charge and i can say i got amazing results.
For starters i cast boolits with LEE 476-400RF mold with ternary alloy obtained by bullets recovered at the shooting range, then i also experienced the powder coating using the trumbler (the acetone system have not succeeded well).

I sold mine a few years ago and now I regret it. It was one of the most accurate revolvers I have owned. Great under rated caliber.
I was a dog on a short chain.
    Now there's no chain.

I have one of those Redhawks myself. It's accuracy & pleasure in shooting is why I also now own a SBH Bisley. I too have the same mold & another one as well. Love that gun & caliber.
The funny thing was when it came out,,, I didn't figure I had any practical use for it. I ignored it. A friend wanted a SRH in 480 for bear hunting. I helped him get one,,, with the understanding that if he sold it,,, I had right of first refusal. Well after 2 years,,, he called me & I was able to buy the gun, a scope, a shoulder holster,,, some ammo & all for a very, very nice price.
    I still didn't need it.
But,, I shot it & it surprised me at how pleasant it was to shoot & how accurate it is. Well, last year,, that same friend called,,,, wanting to buy it back,, and since he didn't ask for the same considerations,,, AND since I had no plans to sell,, it still resides here.

I've been touting the 400 gr cast 21 gr H-110/W-296 CCI 350 load for over a decade, because it flat works. I've tried that charge under nearly a dozen different 390-410 gr cast bullets, and scoped off the bench at 50 yds everyone would group 1".

IMHO the 480 SRH is one of the finest hunting revolvers ever made, perfect balance of accuracy, power and shootability.

If all revolvers shot so well

I had one with the longer barrel and a 2x Leupold. After I got it sighted in with 400 gr RCBS cast boolits it was easy to break clay pigeons offhand at 100 yards.
