    Armalite AR30 rebarrel?

Anyone know the thread dimensions on the barrel shank on an AR30 rifle?

What are you going to re-barrel to?

    BTW, pics would be nice.

I was thinking one of two things. Using a magnum bolt face and making a 300 wsm out of the current 308 barrel or going to a 6.5 creedmoor. Why couldn't they have used the Savage large shank thread size, would make my job alot easier!!! I have a Savage FT-R 6.5-284 barrel I might use as a donor and try and adapt a Savage nut system on the barrel!!!
