Interest for 9mm /357/ 38spl Round nose SWC mold (MP molds)

Is there interest for such mold out there??
I have cherries and blocks ready.
I did it for a customer from Sweden for PPC competition.

We can do 6cav brass or 8 cav aluminum........

.359 as cast weight 140 grains with WW alloy and aprox 135 with lyman #2 alloy.

It cycles nice in my 9mm Tanfoglio limited custom

Would you consider doing 4 cav aluminium?

Works fine in my F92 and G17, nice clean holes, accuracy on pair with my 9mm SWC, 10m distance, I am not an expert and this was just function test so far, but it works fine. Plinking and competition type of bullet, not finicky to load

Around here in MI the 9mm factory stuff sell pretty cheap. Not worth chasing the empties.

Casted today with that mold...once I figured out proper lead flow on my electric furnace, around 10th pour, it just started to drop perfect bullets, perfect basesClick image for larger version.

Three to five taps and they were all out.

Mold is a bit lighter, compared to my 6cav SWC, also MiHec, copy of H&G#278, so it's easier on wrists

Yes preheating it is almost a must....got a nice pile that I powder-coated....

So casting with it - usual custom brass experience, prewarmed on a hot plate, and I casted with 370 degrees Celsius.

I'd like to have an 8-cavity al mold. It would make a pile of bullets in a hurry.

This would be a fun bullet to use on "Battleship" splatter targets.
Got an ex-special forces friend that I like to compete with. I'm almost as good as him, but not quite.
