    Encore Forend screws

Does anyone know the length and size of the screws needed for an Encore rifle forend?

With the fore end sitting in place run a toothpick down and bottom out in the hole. Mark the toothpick, withdraw and measure. Buy slightly long and dress to final length with a file.

If you have wood stocks then each one will vary slightly based on how much the screws were tightened down previously. TC elected to not use bushings in the fore stocks so the wood crushes down a little more each time the stock is mounted or until the screw bottoms out.
Witty saying to be plagarized shortly.....
