    JPW,LLA and Mineral spirits

When using the solid (not liquid) JPW with LLA and mineral spirits : Is it necessary to cook the JPW before making the lube?
What exactly are you getting rid of when cooking the wax?

the solvents that jeep the JPW soft.
heat it up and cook it so the solvents evaporate.
the mineral spirits are added in later to thin everything down so the lube flows better and dries faster.
10% is about the minimum to use I normally add more like 20%.
