sounds like that's probably close, even though I know it expands, (the 185) at the speed its going, for some reason I wish it were going faster, even though I know a slow and heavy boolit is as good as a fast and light boolit. which would you use for hog?

so there isn't anyone who has a ballistics calculater downloaded? I have the lead alloy calculator saved, and it took forever before I realized that you didn't just use the bottom line, but the whole thing could be utilized. I'm not lazy, just not good with these programs, I have tried the ballistic one before, a few times. well thanks anyways, Travis

OK....i'll try to help, though i am no expert with these things. Your 17gr load came out at 1500fps and the 21gr load gave 1820fps according to QuickLoad. Of course these are no guarantees, but should be in the ballpark. Hope that helps.

I think I know the difference, like one is the drop and kinetic energy, the other is muzzle velocity, pressure and rpms? I'd love to hear you explain it better than I could, which would be plenty easy, lol, anytime I can learn I will!-Travis
