Smile Post your 0.358" rifle chamberings resume ?

I have a decent variety of 0.358" rifles, at least comparable to any other caliber of mine:
    - .357Mag, .356Win, .350 Rem Mag
If I could hunt (& plink) with only one caliber, the choice is a no-brainer IMO.

A friend of mine is a certifiable .35 loony & was the first firearms thing we found about when we met:
    - .35 Rem, .356 Win, .358 Win, .35 Whelen, .350 Rem Mag, .358 Norma Mag.
He's been wanting a .357 Mag rifle for a while; I keep teasing him about that hole in his collection.

Don't have to list rifles, but am wondering who here has the most complete 0.358" coverage?

For some reason and not on purpose I have gravitated over the years to the 35's. A list, which includes rifles.....
    Marlin 1894C 357 mag
    Marlin 336 SC 35 Remington
Remington 673 Guide gun 350 Rem Mag
    Winchester 1895 35 Whelen
Brno 602 ZKK 358 STA, IMHO, your friend really does need to add a 358 STA to his collection.
Looking to add to the list, a Savage Hog Rifle, 308WCF, which of course will become 358 WCF.

    358 Calibre Rifles

I once had a 35 Remington built on an Argentine 1891. I also once had a Ruger Model 77 in 358 Winchester.

What I have now is a Marlin Cowboy 357 rifle and a custom made Mauser in 358 Whelen. Both are great shooters.

I didn't start out to collect 35s, but I got 'em anyway.

357 Magnum: Timberwolf TD Pump Carbine, Marlin 1894C Carbine, Browning 1892 Carbine, Browning 1885 Hunter

    35 Remington: Marlin 336RC Marauder

    35 Whelen: Ruger 77SR

Others are in the pipeline. The Winchester 71 Deluxe in 348 WCF is a kissin' cousin.

    .357 Ruger Blackhawk, S&W model 67 .38 special, Rossi Puma .357 lever, and a JES/Rem700 .358 Win. I used to have a Mauser 98 .358 Norma. I like the .35s too! Best, Thomas.

    .

    Not complete by any means, but I have a Marlin 336 in .35 Rem, a Remington 141 in .35 Rem, a .356 Winchester BB94 & a .358 Winchester Model 100 Carbine that P.O.Ackley converted (bored/rifled & gas port rework) from a .243 for me, about 45 years ago.

I have a Handi rifle in .357 mag, a Talo barrel. She is a dream to shoot. Stacks em into one hole if I can do my part.

Thinking hard about having JES rebore a shot out Winchester 94 WWII era into a .35-30-30.

I also have a 9mm stubb barrel for handi rifle that is nice, light, short and fun. 16.5 inches technically it is a .356 but it likes .358 or bigger cast boolits.

I have a 725 Remington with a mid weight 24 inch barrel in 35 Whalen. I'm mounting a scope on it today. Going to shoot some RCBS 35-200's in next time out to the range.
