Dad has passed.
The man wished for nothing more than a simple life but never found it. You could say he had a talent for complicating things.
I imagine he's giving God an earful right now while God smiles and lets him talk.
They have all the time in the world to sort things out and in the end it will be pretty simple.

I am so sorry for your loss brother! My dad passed 18 years ago and I still miss him. My prayer for you is peace and grace from the pain of losing your father. Remember the good times and you and your family will sustain each other through your father's passing.
Father please walk with jsnover and his family as they deal with the loss of their father. Please remove the pain and replace it with the memories of the good times that they shared as they walked this path together. Father the loss is sometimes so hard to bear and I pray that You support them through this difficult time in their lives. AMEN

Sorry to hear of your loss. Lost Dad about 10 years ago and still miss him.
So sorry to hear news like this. I lost my grandfather on my dads side this past December and my grandfather on my mom's side last Wednesday. Hopefully thats enough for a while.
