Father, I am coming to You to ask for grace and healing for Heather. Please allow the biopsy to be negative and allow her freedom from the associated fears that associate with any unknown biopsy. Father, You are my God and my Hero and I pray that Richard and Heather will be able to sing Your praises in just a few short days. AMEN

So we got the results yesterday and I am still in a little shock. The pathology report is that it is either Chronic Lymphocytic Lukemia, or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma..... The difference between the two is where the majority of the cancers present and only a good oncologist is going to be able to tell us that. They do believe that some nodules found in the CT scan in her chest and upper abdomen are signs that it has already spread... Right now they say it is entirely treatable, but the treatment could last from one year to the rest of her life, and it averages about $100K (Yes One Hundred Thousand Dollars) per year for treatment costs with insurance that we don't have. They have recommended we try to get her an appointment at MD Anderson Hospital as they have financial folks who can help try to get the payments offset and can help us try to get on Medicaid... They warned us it will probably take at least six months to get to the point she is even being treated....

Prayers would be greatly appreciated still.

Lord be close to Heather and Richard to provide help to them in all ways . Guide them , strengthen them . Provide the way for relief and recovery . In Jesus name I ask . Amen

Richard, M.D. Anderson is a great cancer hospital. It saved one of my cousins and I pray that your Heather will be healed through the doctors there.

Father, I am praying that You intervene in Heather's serious condition. Please guide Heather and Richard as they go through the medical procedures to be healed. Please guide and whisper into the ears of the medical personnel that will attend to Heather. Lastly, Please remove any pain and fears associated so that they can concentrate on her healing! AMEN
