    I am interested in a .452" 185gr clone of the H&G #130

Lots of people really like the H&G #68 mold, and I have two of them. In the past, there were a lot of positive shooter comments about the H&G #130. The only negative comment I ever heard about the 130 was that the holes it cut were not as distinct as those cut by the 68. The bearing surface seems longer in the pictures I have seen of the 130. The gunsmith who put together my 1911 wadgun recommended the 130.

I believe I would like a flat base. I am interested in others comments.

Lyman 452488 is listed at 195 grains and is effectively *the same* as the HG 130 and flat base.

I suppose you are aware of this?

The 130 is a great shooter and cycles my Glock 21 and my 1911 custom.

I seem to remember seeing them up on fleabay regularly. If interested I can send you some to try out. Just pm me.

I have one, but drops bullets ~200 grains and the OP desires 185's.

I see. I wonder why they list it as a 185. The 68 and 69 are supposed to be the 200g. I'm not doubting you, just odd.

My original H&G 6-cav drops at 192gr using straight COWW.

Though I weighed a few old ones my grandpa cast at ~188 and he liked to play with alloys more than I tend to.

Since OP was mentioning bearing surface I included a side by side in case needed. Left is H&G 130, right is a new MP clone of the H&G 68.
