    NOE 452-230-HP RG2 cavity PB

Anyone casting these with the large hp. Thinking of getting one to change up my .45 ACP ammo but that hollow point looks huge. Anyone have problems with cycling. Not wanting to spend that kinda of money on a two cavity but it does look interesting.Click image for larger version.

I have a 200 grain version of that boolit that I like a lot. It feeds well and casts pretty well. I like the RG design almost as much as the MP Cramer types. Figure they'll produce at about 85% the rate of a non-HP version.

I have the four cavity version of that mold. It casts great once up to heat! I like the boolits it drops. No problem in cycling at all in the .45's I've tried it in. Good luck.

They sure look ornery enough...too, they look like you could use straight WW Pb air cooled and still get good mushrooming at 900 FPS.
Has anyone ever tried filling the HP with silicone or bees wax to prevent material clogging?
They would scare me just to look at those loaded into the SAA Colt cylinder!

I have been using the mold in all my 45 wheel guns and semi auto. Not had any issues. Recently ordered a gas check version of it so they can be pushed harder in a rifle.
