    Mold size 300blk? .309/.310/.311

Looking at molds for 300blk slugged at .308.
Want a plinking accurate 150gr or less that feeds no problem.
Thought I had this with .309 mold and sizer. But as I look at Noe molds they have a .311 for 300blk what's ur thoughts on this??
Want to find one mold tweek the lead and load till I get it right load shoot repeat.

Slug your chamber and barrel. I'm sizing at .310

I size all my 30cal bullets to .310 and they all shoot well. Have not found a need for anything else unless maybe your interested in shooting competition.
All my Ruskie stuff gets sized to .312

I use this mold for ALL my 30 cal bullets and Ruskie stuff. its a winner. I cast and size all to .312 then resize any for my 30 cal suff again to .310.
Keeps it simple and cast them by the thousands.

the ruger bolt gun would more than likely take 311 with no problem.
my AAC would have to have the brass trimmed to about .008 thick before it would even chamber.
for an AR .309 sizing shouldn't pose an issue but a nose over .300 probably would.

I have 2 @ 3085, had one that took 310. I use a 31-142C PB I coat and run 2100 fps with h110. Working with a 170 PB (RD variant) ~1600 with 1680, 10" pistol. I size for groove as they are not bore riders, I.e. Never get to the lands.
    Whatever!

A .311 or .312 will give you more leeway as you can size to .308-.312"

Slug your barrel. My blackout slugs at .307", size at .309". However, I do use the Lee TL312-160 2R and size it down. its pretty much a bore rider design, with a .306" nose. If I were you I'd go with the Lee 312-155 and call it good. I betcha need to size to .309".

Oh, I see, you did slug. .309" will probably be OK, .310" definitely will. I stand with my recommendation of the Lee mould.

    First line in my post...
Slugged barrel at .308 yes .308 so is a .309 .310 the way to go? Shooting volume at 100 yards. Want it reasonably accurate lil to no leading using gas checks.
