Wondering if anyone has paper-patched with either a .25 Krag or the .25 Ackley Improved Krag (full length case, fire-formed with min. body taper & 40* shoulder?
I have not but I have patched for my 25/303. I made a special two-diameter mold for the purpose and the patched boolit was a good fit as far as I can make out. I never range tested my loads so I can't give any useful comments other than the boolit patched fine and fit the throat fine and seemed to perform well in my 'test tube'. I wouldn't want to patch a short 25 cal boolit - mine were quite long (125gr) making it easy to patch.
