Multi radial rifling and cast bullets

I'm thinking about buying a Sabatti tactical with multi radial rifling.
Just wondering if anyone is has experience or is shooting cast bullets in barrels with multi radial rifling.

    no sir.
i'll stick to my boolits coming out the barrel round.

their break in, cleaning, and lapping procedure looks like quite the ordeal.

Their rifling is just like the H&K or Glock pistols. They are fussy about the fit with cast but shoot well. Glock claims that cast isn't compatible with their "polygonal" rifling, but many on here don't have a problem. I don't have any problems with any of my 3 H&K poly barrels using lead. If you slug your barrel, it is hard to measure the best diameter for fit. I wound up with about 0.002 over the measurement. 0.003 works well also maybe better especially in 9mm vs 40.

I think it work work well and I don't know if all that prep stuff is really necessary.

It's a Boucher rifling or Metford, nothing new just different.

All switched away from it when Cordite/smokeless was introduced as it eroded bad.
The Lee-Enfield used to be a Lee-Metford but barrels and rifling was changed.
The Danish Krag-Jørgensen 1889 rifle had Metford rifling but that lasted less than 15 years. You guessed it excessive barrel wear using smokeless.

I shoot cast out of my factory glock barrels just fine. I have mine sized 2thou bigger than barrel slug size with fantastic accuracy and no leading

R5,it does look kinda like the "Rasmuson" rifling, & typ. 38 Arisaka rifling both were supposed to reduce bore erosion as I remember, Fivefang

My hkp7 m8 had a polygonal barrel shot well and was easy to clean, more than one way to skin a cat.
