    More gratuitous knife pics...

This first one was my try at building a better Becker. Designed to be a brutally tough camp/survival knife, but still light in the hand and on the belt. 1/4" thick 5160 carbon steel with a differential heat treat and full flat grind. Maple handles held on only with peened over pins; ain't no school like the old school. Leather sheath with removeable dangler. Blade tang is drilled for balance, and coupled with handle shape makes for an efficient chopper that is not tiresome to do finer work with.

This one was a customer that wanted a skinner, and LOVED the Spyderco Manix. The handle shape mimics the Manix, but the blade is better suited for the skinning and light camp uses he had in mind. .110" thick A2 carbon steel at 61Rc. Canvas Micarta handles for grip when hands are wet and goopy, and Kydex sheath can be washed out and cleaned when necessary.

This last one was an experimental blade, had a bunch of things I needed to try out. AEB-L blade steel, G10 handles. Turned out to be an even better knife than I had hoped. Once you use it a time or two, you don't want to pick up anything else. Holds an edge better than any other kitchen knives we own, including Henkels and Wusthoff.
