Removing a hidden box magazine savage m 12 stock

I am attempting to remove the magazine on a savage that stays in the stock when the barrel and action are removed , I believe it is the blind box , there must be some trick to get it out or at least I hope it is . It seams as though a metal clip is holding pressure against the magazine that holds it in place . Any help would be greatly appreciated .

My wife told me how to remove it , she said get a hold of it and pull it out , while it was a little more to getting a hold of it , but with her help it has been put in a new stock . A little work opening up the barrel channel , and some beading I will have a stock that I can get a good grip on .

You can give it to your wife - it sounds like she earned it..........

Later in the day she helped me put a revolver back together , maybe I shouldn't have taken it apart to start with .

Thank you Bama , I was just worried about breaking or bending something , some of the time I have done more harm than good working on things .
