PTX option for 300blk on LnL?

Without some sort of PTX option for my LnL powder drop I won't have enough stations (if I use the powder cop and FCD) to add a universal expander die.

I don't seem to find much info when searching. Anything I am missing?

I have not seen any Hornady PTX parts for the 300blk but I solved my quest by using a Lee Pro Auto Disk on a 38spl body with an insert I made myself. Simple lathe work, if you have access to one. I happen to prefer the Lee units over the Hornady on the press but that is just the way I roll.

If push came to shove, and I wanted to create another die space on my LnL I might clean, prime and size prior to bringing the brass to the press.
The best option I can think of though is just having a small machine shop make the proper insert for the expander that goes under the LnL throw.
Lots of people around here have little lathes in their garages for their hobby work...if you put up a notice on several of the local bulletin boards I'll bet you'll find one of those fellas that would be glad to help out and you'll have a new friend too.

Last year I did a short video on getting Lee to make an adapter for their powder through expander where we could screw it into place and use our choice of powder throws instead of their standard top that comes with the die and their throw..well, to shorten the story, a fella in Texas saw the video and contacted me via Y-Tube and offered to make it for free and he did.

I never thought about just asking hah

You know, I was always amazed at how many times I saw someone "just make" the piece that others were talking about, its like having a lathe is like owning a hammer on some of these forums

I had asked the same question a few months ago but for a 40s&w. The Hornady PTX was just a hair short on the flair for my cast bullets. I call Hornady and the guy said they could make a custom one but that would cost a couple of hundred dollars.

Let us know if you find a solution be sure to let us know. Good luck.
