I love hunting the woods in high winds. So much noise going on the deer often don't hear or smell you till it's too late. Good luck!

it didn't work out for the woods hunt with the pistola
Thursday was a blustery no show day
funny thing Wednesday evening while I was setting
up camp I saw 7 doe,two in one spot then 5 more in another
thought Thursday would be a chip shot, well thats hunting
Today at 7 a.m I see 3 doe cross my field at the farthest spot
    Attachment 182357
they weren't in a hurry but cautious of crossing the opening I
was 185 yds distant so I cranked the Ziess up to 10x on the 280 a.i
and squeezed one off at the shot I lost sight of the deer I shot
it came to another opening and stopped to figure out what the hub bub was all
about so I picked a spot and squeezed another and saw the deer fall and run 20
or so yards and fall over.I walked over to the spot of the shot and saw the hit and
found the deer without any issue then I had a sneaky feeling,so I started looking
and sure enough I hit the first deer and followed the blood to a second deer.As luck
would have it that is what I was after anyway 2 deer 1 for me and 1 for another
family member. The first shot hit exactly where I was aiming at 185 yds.and the
second did as well at 200 yds.Now we can start the work of processing.

Nothing make me happier than having to process a deer.

Well just being in the woods hunting is first and processing a deer is really close second place

Good job, White Eagle! Nice shooting! Just finished processing one a few hours ago, glad I didn't have another. My old shoulders get tired after one these days.
