This was actually a joke...one of my co-workers, before I retired, came in one morning and made this announcement of his previous evening's meal. It cracked everyone up...

I like hamburger helper. It got me through my college and single years.

It's cold and raining outside tonight , made a pot of turkey and smoked sausage gumbo with the leftover Thanksgiving roast turkey and drippings. Wife brought home a loaf of fresh French bread and I have a little jar of fresh homemade file' powder ready.....This is what being Cajun is all about !

Doesn't change my answer. Btw, I don't mind hamburger helper, not sure I could eat 5 different kinds but I sure could sample them all.

whenever anybody asked my granny "what are you havin' for supper?" she'd reply "I'm havin' a 7-course supper, a six-pack & a hoagie." got laughs every time

Why don't them Cajuns think up some Crawfish Helper? Dried powdered Etouffee in a box, add water and crawfish, seems logical to me!
    Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer?
