Can you tell which cartridge has which load?

    Which cartridge has which load?
These are all .357 magnum cases topped with 158 grain powder coated lead bullets.
    They each have different loads.
The loads are as follows: 3.5gr WST, 3.5gr Trail Boss, 4.5gr Trail Boss and 14.5gr. H110.
Can you tell which is which?

There are so many calibers and bullet designs because there are so many different targets... the target is everything.

    Here's what I use:

    PC BOOLIT COLOR CODES.

    RED: Standard load for handguns.

BLUE: Standard load for handguns with heavy boolit.
Midrange load for rifles with hard WD’d boolit.

GREEN: Any boolit of soft AC 50/50 alloy, for hunting game.

BLACK: Maximum load for that cartridge, with hard WD’d boolit.

    YELLOW: Any extra-light ‘mousefart’ load.

White..........we’ll think of something, probably ‘cosmetic’ like for mixing PINK for the gals??

I like your methodology vis bullet types signifying charge. I "date" my brass by marking reloaded primers with a Sharpie, in colours corresponding to the colour spectrum (Violet, Indigo Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red) which I still remember 52 years after high school! The first reload of factory brass gets a Blue sharpie'd primer, 2nd reload gets yellow; 3rd = orange; 4th = Red; and 5th gets black. But, I'd never considered a method for i.d.'ing loads. I LIKE your method! And, albeit I use Star/Lyman lub on uncoated cast bullets, may just cog on and come up with a code i.d. for my efforts, based on yours!
    Thanks!

What color does the 14th load get?
There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism—by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide. Ayn Rand
