Is there any interest in a 420 grain WFN bullet with a double crimp groove? Saw a post on the NOE forum for this bullet. I really want one and hope the discussion turns into a group buy.
Please check out the group buy discussion if your interested.

Having just traded for a RSR in .480, I'd be interested.

I personaly don't need another 475 mold but if I were you id consider an lfn instead of a wfn. the lfn will fly much better past 50 yards and with a bullet the size of a 475 you just don't need the larger meplat of a wfn.
To tell you the truth, Lloyd I've always tried to be ready for any new calibers coming into my stable of guns and I've been casting my own since my early 20s(it's now my late 60s). This caliber has caught me flat footed and just thought I'd buy some molds for the, new to me, caliber.

I only see a 375 grain rfgc listed on noe's site.

Check out accuratemolds.com 48-405E I have that mold and shoots great t at least a 100 yards and it won't take 6months to get here also if you don't see the mold you like Tom will make one just for you and it will be less than a month to receive
I've yet to find a 390-410 gr cast bullet that hasn't shot extremely well out of my 480, and I've probably tried nearly a dozen different molds in that weight range. My Lee 400 rf is one of the prototypes sent out around the country to test out the design and it shoots the same as LBT, RCBS, NEI, Mihec, LEE, Mountain Molds, Ballisticast and I'm sure another maker or two I'm forgetting.
The 420 gr weight leaves me cold, no real good reason I guess but I'd go either 400 gr or 440 gr. I used to have a 460 gr, but that was too much of a good thing even though it shot fine it was just on the edge pressure wise and I don't care for sticky extraction in a self defense round.
