Possible problem with the heavier boolits is seating depth. Crimp groove forces a seating depth so maybe feed & chamber problems. Seating real deep (no C.G.)you run into case wall thickness variation or a stepped case, loss of powder space, etc.

The two cavity Lee 356-120TC I got last year dropped .356 exactly, which was not big enough for my LoneWolf or factory 9mm barrel. I lapped it out and it works, but it was more work than I like for bullets that don't please me. Would've been great for coating, which is also more work than I prefer.

The NOE 358-155TC has given me great results, and can be loaded down to almost rimfire like recoil and still function a stock Glock 17, if sluggishly. Making Minor PF with a lighter sprung gun it is excellent. If PF matters go heavy.

I like the Lee 120gr. TC bullet. I have shot it in countless 9MMs and a few .380s even. It does very well and is accurate.

Another vote for Lee 120TC 6 cavity mold. I've cast, coated and shot in excess of 75K of these with excellent success.

Hi Kosh, have you looked at the Saeco #383 mold/ boolit, it's my vavorite, it feeds 100% in my norinco,cz 75,m57 zastava, it's the most accurate .35 pistol mold I own, Fivefang

I actually like the 145-150 a bit better for cast in a 9 too. It tends to run the action at lower pressures a bit better.

I like 147gr in 9mm, the recoil is less and I find that important in the subcompact 9mm pistols we have.

I like the looks of that bullet! What is your experience with it, in terms of high(ish) velocities? Do you think it could be pushed to 1000 f/S from a 4" barrel without straining things?

The Lee 358-125-RF -- a bullet really intended for the .38 Special/.357 Magnum -- has been working fine for me in a little Kahr 9/19 mm pocket gun. The Lee 6-cavity mold drops a pile of slugs quickly, and the versatile bullet allows me to size to .357" diameter for the 9mm pistol, and larger for my S&W .38/.357 wheelguns.

It's a grease-groove, flat-base bullet, but I've gotten along fine so far with just tumble-lubing. Of course, I don't run the slugs very hot; I'm happy with a load that reliably functions the Kahr pistol and shoots to the sights at 20-25 yards.
