Anyone know the last year of production for this round in the Model 94?

1973 is what runs through my mind. I have no proof onhand for that though.

The last catalog to offer the Model 94 chambered in .32 Winchester Special was dated 1973.

Thanks. A man at work offered to sell me one he has. I wondered about it's age as it has the short forearm. The serial # is in the 1,700,000 range,

I can't remember exact dates but it was in about 1980 or so there was a run of 32 Special in the angle eject model.I had one and traded it to a friend.I do believe the standard 94 production did stop in about 1974.My dad had a gun shop at the time and they were still available then although the quality was terrible.

I have one made in 1954 which is just over two million.

My '94 Wrangler in 32 Win. Dates to 1979

Serial number 16xxxxx was 1948-1949 or thereabouts, so 1700000 is late 40's, early 50's. My 1949 Model 94 in 32 WS has the forearm like the picture of the wrangler.

Interesting Hick. I thought the early models had the longer forearm.

Nope. My 1936 made 94, 32 Spl has a short forearm
