Google warning AGAINST CASTBOOLITS!!!

I didn't get the warning but did get pop-ups for various products.

I'm using Mac and Safari and Yahoo...I have the issues.

After reading more of the posts in this thread and another thread dealing with the same issue, I notice several browsers are flagging the site.

I know back in the day when I had a bit of knowledge of how sites were blocked, I found out that our blocked web sites came from a central data base owned by a third party. This party would upload sites to be blocked and were on contract to sell through continuous automatic upload to their customers. It could be that Google and other browsers are using a service such as this?

It's Bush's fault. Or maybe the poor losers in the last election. I get the warning every time I click on anything at the site.

I'm not having any problems with Safari. I just tried with two different iPhone's and my iPad. All three went to Cast Boolits without any warning...

Hmmm...update. After browsing thru a half-dozen threads, I signed on using Chrome (from my cellphone). Again, no problems, no warnings, no pop-ups.

I got it from Chrome just now as well. It was fine yesterday, but this morning gave me the same error.

I have a fairly decent virus program and for the past couple of months my virus software has "intercepted" "infections" from this site. I would say 95% of the time I get no warnings from this sight but often times I can't go to other sites without restarting.

Someone out there may be messing with us, as this is a new wrinkle - nothing vicious, just annoying.

I got the same warning today when I tried to access the site on my desktop unit in the den.
I get the same message when I access another site(tank net forums...that has been ongoing for quite some time[months]).

I think certain sites with a certain type of content(firearms, weapons, military, etc) are being targeted by some group(Google???).
No real proof but it seems strange...maybe someone with a deeper understanding of computers knows how to research this. I use computers but rely on others with specific skill sets to deal with the technical aspects thereof.

So far the problem seems to be with Google, Firefox and maybe one or two other browsers. I believe it is related to where these browsers get their flag or block site info. I would bet it is from the same source.

I have been able to get into our site without any flags or warnings using Internet Explorer and Safari.
My advice is to try another Browser if you have one to see if you can get in without warning until the problem is fixed.

I've seen the same thing happen on a couple forums, usually it's because someone linked or hotlinked something from a site that is known bad. The last time I remember it happening, it was an image someone had linked from a risky site.

.......when trying to log in this A.M., Google Chrome shows me a red screen and says this is an 'unsafe site subject to phishing'. GEE!

You are correct. In an earlier post in this thread, I mentioned something similar to this. A little more expanding of my knowledge from my previous post. When I was able to ask how the company was able to block or flag sites, what they used..
One of their answers was key words. I doubt that is what is flagging this site as you can probable open up other gun related sites without the warning.
I believe someone somehow added Cast Boolits to the data base that Google and some other Browsers use to flag sites.

Just got it on Firefox. I allowed it and reported it as not true. If all of you report it as not true they will remove the flag. Apparently a group got together and reported CB?
