There's a really nice Marlin 336 SC on Auction Arms, Item #8662949 in 35 Rem. 1950 vintage with Ballard rifling. Not mine and I have no connection. It's at $300 plus with about 1 day left. If I didn't have one already, I'd jump on this'un.

Looks clean. Wonder how the bore condition is?
Should get up to about $450.
I have one from 1952 that is about 95% , paid $250 plus tax about 5 years ago !
So if it's 80% or better $300 ain't bad at all !
Parker's , 6.5mm's and my family in the Philippines
I bought one 3 yrs ago for $200.00 ,no tax that is 85% and the stroke is as smooth as butter. The nicest unmodified lever in the herd! The auction arms gun should be worth $400 with today's prices.
