    The old coffee pot

Finally mixed up some Ben's Red to try in a Lyman #45 I picked up. The formula was about as easy to mix up as it could be despite some of the negatives I've read about but key number one is buying a wire whisk, .88 cents at walmart, and using it to stir the melt for 20-25 minutes and it will blend perfectly. Anyway, I had an old drip coffee pot that I decided I could use to re-melt the Bens to pour straight into the Lyman 45 so I thought I'd give yall a useless picture.

at first I thought you made it in the coffee pot but then realized you just use it to heat it up to pour in the sizer, guess that would work just fine. I use a thrift store crock pot to make mine in.

    Remove what? the lube?

I store mine in the pot and turn it on about an hour before using. The coffee pot keeps it clean, the pot warmer never heats it too hot, I just add more lube when it gets low. There must be some 20 year old lube mixed in with the newer lube in that pot - works great.

I just use a small (pint) size sauce pan from the second hand store to melt my lube then I use the cut off top of a 2 liter pop bottle as a funnel to fill my lubesizer. The funnel fits perfectly and I can discard the funnel after I am done.

Think he meant remove the lube before you brew coffee.
