Newish product to reduce stickiness of lubed boolits

This is a blend of talc and graphite I sell from precision planting. Works a little better than straight graphite. Not as messy on your fingers. Been using it for the last few weeks over 2500+ and 50/50 from White Lable. I've been using the .5cc Lee scoop on 25-50 boolits and tumbling before stacking in boxes. It does cut down on boolits stuck together. Thought I'd throw another option out for guys with this issue.

it works great at coating home made shot too.
and it's cheap a jug that size is about 10 bucks and is 2 lifetime supply's.

if you mix it with denatured alcohol it makes a good mold release [top of molds] and is great for coating ladles to keep the sticky clingy's off them.
and it's pretty good for shaking on your shot shell wads.
it is a little coarser than lock smiths [colloidal] graphite though.

I to use a Graphite based seed lube for coating shot, picked up a quart sized container years ago from a John Deere dealership, and that also is a couple lifetime supply. very inexpensive, and my my tumbler will always be black from it.

    Smoke.
any of your local tractor supply/Cal Ranch type places will have it.
it's used to get seeds to flow smoothly through a grain drill and such around the farm.

so...........you just dust this powder over your lubed boolits? I've been spraying with rubbing alcohol, which helps, but would like something better!

    yep.
the alcohol dries out a skin on the lubes surface.
Mica takes up the extra lube but is a bit pricey [I use it on my 9mm boolits with a wetter lube]
this stuff is graphite [some comes with a bit of mica mixed in] and gives you a light coating on the lubes surface which keeps everything apart.
it will give you a coating on your fingers too.

a while back we were messing about with going super slow around here.
and found that about 450-500 fps was doable in some rifles [223 mostly] if we used a coat of alox or 45/45 lube with quite a bit of graphite mixed into the lube.
the graphite in the lube supplemented the powder fouling and allowed us to get that low reliably.

I tried to locate some here in NE Texas. Tried Tractor Supply stores and a feed/fertilizer place. None of them ever heard of seed lubricant. Perhaps it's an "up north" thing. So I ordered a jug over the internet like I have to do lots of things living out in the boonies.

    Thanks for the tip.

that's kind of surprising I would think they would use it for cotton seeds too.
