    BAC from 50/50

So I have been toying the idea of moving from Magma hard lube to something softer in my Star. I already have one RCBS LAM with Lar's red Carnuaba and another that's sitting empty. Most of my shooting is pistol and I am having some issues with leading in my 9mm and 40. My rifles get red carnauba from the LAM.

I have three old sticks of RCBS rifle bullet lube which I am assuming is common 50/50 mix from what my internet search is showing....

how much red carn to mix with it to get something equivalent to Lar's BAC?

I see BAC is a mix of his 50/50 and red carnauba, but unsure on the ratio. I really don't feel up to mixing small quantities and doing testing of batches.

I also have two sticks of BAC already (but for some reason they are two different shades) and three extra sticks of 2500+.

I was making it with 2 sticks of 50-50 and 1/2 stick of carnuba red.
it needed a repair shot to the barrel then all was good.

I myself would just melt all of your extra BAC, 2500, 50-50, and 1 stick of carnuba red all together and shoot it.

I like your thinking? I was toying that idea as well.

If all else failed, I would order some from Lars.

BAC is a half and half mix of 50-50 and Carnauba Red.
I'm not sure if the RCBS Rifle is 50-50 or not. I seem to remember it being stiffer than 50-50.

    Thanks!!
cant beat that for help! In think i am going to place an order from you anyways.

the RCBS seems firm but I can squish with some finger force but it ain't like butter or gooey. I have an email into RCBS. It seems to be a brownish color as well.
