I had one. So so shooter and the bolt handle kept coming unscrewed from the bolt body. A friend had one and he had trouble with the bottom plastic. I would look else where for a rifle.

I own that exact rifle. It is an outstanding shooter for me. It consistently shoots groups at 200 yards 1inch or smaller with 3 different bullets.
I have had no mechanical issues with this rifle and have fired nearly 1000 rounds through it. I would definitely recommend this rifle.

I bought one around four years ago and still have it in the rack. Outstanding shooter. I bedded the plastic stock which increased accuracy and got in below moa. I have since put a laminated stock on it but haven't shot in since. Fine rifles.

I faced a similar decision and Cabela's had the Howa mini-Mauser on sale a few weeks ago for $350. No brainer
