If its for BP then I recommend Lars 45s BPCR lube.
If its for WP then any of his other lubes, BAC comes to mind.

Depends on your bullet design, your velocity and your hardness if you factor out gun indivuduality. Just about anything can be made to work, but I avoid anything with lanolin in it for 45 caliber.
If you said that I had to lay money on the results, I would probably try and cook up a load with Lyman Super Moly. I seem to have my best luck with that in larger bore work up until about 30,000 psi. 30,000 to 40,000 it's just OK. Develops RPMitis above that.
Reading can provide limited education because only shooting provides YOUR answers as you tie everything together for THAT gun. The better the gun, the less you have to know / do & the more flexibility you have to achieve success.
