That's it . I almost have it in hand , a "pistol cartridge carbine" that fits a Mauser bolt face holds 5 and can be loaded from ACP or Schofield well into lever gun mid range 45-70 loads . The Raptor uses direct exchange data from the 460 . That means that I can shoot some really fast 180-200 gr bullets and some seriously heavy heavy weights . Any game is fair game .
I have several moulds for the 452 bore RB , 45-200, 454424 , 452-255 , 457-340 and a paperable 431421 at .448 so I have the low end go fast covered and a couple of satisfactory hunting bullets .
What about a long range bullet ? Is there an under 500 gr bullet shaped like the Money or various 535s ? Maybe a PP that will size to .448 ?
