If you ever wondered, it takes .6 grains of White Label BAC lube to fill the grove on a Lyman 230 grain round nose 45 ACP round.

thank you, that exact figure helped me to win a long running bet!
That nugget of information was the last bit I needed to complete a New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle that I have been working on since 1987.
Finally. Into the file cabinet it goes.
Interesting... That's *exactly* the combined weight of 1000 Democrat brains.
Coincidence?
Easy way to tell...take a piece of wax paper that will fit inside your scale. Note the reading. Remove the lube from a lubed bullet and put it on the wax paper and weigh it.
......and to think that I could have gone all day with nobody asking me for this tidbit of info!Robert
It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years (Abe Lincoln)
"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” George Washington
23,333,333.3 lubed rounds per Ton of lube
What if I am using the same bullet for .45 Colt and sizing to .455 rather than to .452 for ACP?
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? (Sgt. Oddball, KELLY'S HEROES)

You will use very close to 1% more lube
Kinda funny I actually wonder this once. At the time I was curious about how much lube the lee 452-200 took. Turned out to be .5 grains. Then I realized I'm way too numbers crazy.
It's only hubris if I'm wrong.
I think a disclaimer should be included in the original post. What alloy, what temp, what air pressure, what altitude, what mold how old was the lube, what is the exact % of each ingredient in both alloy and lube, what size was the lubing die. LMAO
Vote on the 8th

Remember Lavoy!
I'll cling to my God and my guns, and you can keep the "Change".
Vote as soon as you can.
Only wait till the 8th if there is no early voting.
Vote like your guns depend on it.
Seek out other like-minded folks, that may not have a way or the inclination, and take them.
Put an "I VOTED" sticker on your back glass to let the world know.
Oh Yeah! Fill those lube groves with what-ever floats ya boat regardless of the weight.
Information not shared. is wasted.
