There's not much north of town, you could see the falls, but you might be disappointed.
If your in to farming there are a few places that sell farm equipment.
    Maybe watch a movie.
No!, I can't think of anything to do or see there. Sorry.

Our Daughter graduated from the University of Sioux Falls some years ago.
    Nice small town atmoshpere
I bought some "PIG BOOTS" as the local hardware store for duck hunting
They are rubber, metal buckle, heavy and warm.

Grew up there and moved out in 1991. Not much then, not much now when I go back and visit family.
Good size city of 100,000+ so there may be something for you.

Corporate moved there a few years back as they wanted the advantages of a big city and they had almost outgrown Huron. I have never stopped in SF.

Nice town, picturesque, well kept, good food and good people. Would be a great place to retire if winters were not so damned cold.

Lewis and Clark Lake and Gavin's Point dam just 70 miles south is a great place to visit. Tours of the dam, Lewis and Clark history center, fish hatchey and aquarium, good eating places, and an Indian Casino with a buffalo herd.

Ya, pheasant hunting but unsure what out of state license is.
Most of outskirts of Sioux Falls is way overhunted closeby public land. Most private is leased out for $$$. Not like the old days we used to take our shotguns and leave them in the car. Soon as the bell rang at 3pm (or we skipped a last class...!) we drove out of town and got a good hour or two of road hunting when the sun would set and the pheasants came to the gravel roads to get stones in their gizzards after eating corn all day. Even walk some public game areas and still
be home for homework and a late dinner. Wow, we would have expelled and arrested for our shotguns in the truck....

+1 I still enjoy road hunting. lots of people scoff at this but walking a road with good ditches and some feed makes for many birds.
