    Puffballs

Lady where I hunt called, puffballs were up. I went down and we went in her woods. They were everywhere, I got 5, gave 3 to other neighbors.
I made the big one, sliced, flour, egg wash and breadcrumbs. Carol fried it and between 3 of us there are only 2 pieces left.
Like eggplant I never quit until I can't move!
Next one is going to be soup.

How do you distinguish the good from the bad? I get them here and as they age they get as big as bowling balls before they turn to dust.

Have to be white inside. With in a few days there will be some yellowing outside, peel comes off anyway. They will turn green inside and will be too old.
