Ain’t that always the kicker! Can’t tell you how many times I wanted to order some item and changed my mind when shipping was calculated.

Yeah I would never spend that for a tool ---- I'd rather wreck a King Reflector ramp & sight OR a antique spirt level Sharps sight OR a hand made nickel silver sight on a 1700s PA rifle.

Of course I also use a pipe wrench to remove octagonal barrels and my wine of choice is Night Train Express..

I drift/remove sights with a brass punch and a hammer ,and have not had a problem . Just remember hit the left side 1st to remove and insert from the right side
and it works on muzzleloaders /sharps and most of my center fires /Kimbers are difficult

Lucifers- the odds of me having any of THOSE sights to work on is pretty much zilch.

That's a shame. But any sight is worth treating carefully.

That's why I use a padded vise and brass and nylon drift punches custom ground to the sight in question.

here's the thing - the WSD is portable and no vise or special anything is needed to make those adjustments at the range/field when sussing out a gun. hard to beat for $32/shipped. i have NO affiliation with WSD, other than i have one and recognize its value - to me. YMMV.

Good grief I don't know how I missed this. I am Wyoming Sight Drifter, LLC. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the endorsements fellas. The price of the tool is $32.00 and I charge $5.00 for shipping. Buffalo Arms sells a lot of these but I have no idea about the shipping cost. Sage Outfitters/Harlan sells them and just recently so does Skinner Sights. If you want to use a credit card these are the folks to contact, if you are fine with sending me a check I'm all to happy to sell you one. Just give me a call 307-421-2127. The tool is satisfaction guaranteed.
