got a ruger blackhawk 41/2" in .44 mag on the way in and need a holster/belt for it. want a leather western style rig ( don't wanna look like wyatt earp). will be mostly used for hunting. don't want to break the bank either. any suggestions appreciated. thanks

I've gone to custom holsters for the most part. If you look around, there are a whole lot of folks locally that do nice work for close to the same price as a factory rig. They can make the rig as fancy or plain as you want.

My gunleather comes from either Simply Rugged or El Paso Saddlery.

Mernickle. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed in one of their get ups.

If not them then El Paso Saddlery.

I have a couple of holsters styled after what was offered by Brill. Here is one with a S&W "N" frame in it.

Another western style would be the Threepersons holster.

My holsters are custom made and usually cheaper and delivered faster than what is offered by the big boys. If you are interested in the maker. PM me.

He can make any style you want, plain or fancy, with whatever particularities you require.
