    Once fired brass

Probably the wrong place for this. I ordered 100 once fired 308 case's on Amazon a few days ago and it got here today. It was shipped in 6 flat rate envelopes, no way to damage this stuff short of running over it with a truck. Note inside said there was 106 pcs and they were there. Brass was not sized but had been cleaned and beautiful condition. All Lake City Military brass. have to recommend this place if your looking for brass. Uncle Bob's Brass, 14 Elmdale St, Seekonk, Mass, 02771. paid $26 which included shipping. Got the shipping due to having Prime account on Amazon O think.

I did find them but don't remember how. Well just looked and didn't find it either. Had the address, in fact e-mail address and can't find it. I'll keep looking.

    Guess what, just found it.

I buy most of my brass on Gunbroker. My last purchase was 1,000 once fired LC brass for $70. I've seen mixed batches for less but I like all LC. That last batch included 1,020 cases, they were all the same year (LC '11), and every single piece was usable. Not a bad case in the lot (seller doesn't guaranty they'll all be the same year, I just got lucky).

There are also great deals on Etsy and websites run by gun ranges. One of my favorites is Firstclassbulletsandbrass.com

I am thankful I was able to supply such useless info! The stuff I got was all LC too. The best brass I ever used in 308 was LC national match.

For "matched" match brass in a small lot, that is probably a reasonable price... I would personally look for a somewhat larger batch of matched brass, perhaps at a more competitive price as well, but that's just the way I tend to do things, YMMV.

BTW, with all the different fora (forums) on this site, why did you pick this particular one to post this information? Loading precision rifle ammo from once fired (by somebody else in an unknown gun) is about the last thing I would expect to do successfully with my 310 tool or Lee Loader.

I just picked up a hundred o/f .308 empties at the range. The guy on the next bench said he does NOT reload, so I could have his empties. I love govt. emmployees!
