No other rifle shoulders as well as this early style Pa. rifle. Throw it up to the shoulder pointed in the direction of your target and it sort of follows your mental image of the target. Stock, swamped barrel?..all I know is it fits and balances perfectly for me.

Well, I have quite a few as well but I think the PP MaGee custom made 45 caliber under hammer is one I'm really taking a liking to. It's a close tie to my Hal Sharon. Heck, they're all my favorite!!
But in the shotgun category it has to be the original William Landell double barrel I picked up this spring.
I only have two original Cap & Ball Revolvers...and a few reproduction C & B Revolvers..no Muzzle Loading Long Arms yet.
Of these my circa 1864 Remington .44 is my favorite...it is just magical somehow, so well made, never over buffed like the repros, crisp, original finish, fine mechanism, just a joy to shoot and admire all round.

Right now its my TC Hawken with .58 cal Green Mountain barrel (top pic) with 1:70 twist!
Bottom is a TC Hawken .50
I'll also have to say the Colt 1851 Navy is my favorite.
Well, I only have one and a half BP guns to pick from... Don't worry, I'll add more.
What I have is a TC Hawken in 50... sweet shooting rifle. Then, this summer I saw and snagged a 12ga shotgun barrel for her. Dramatically changes the gun, and yes, its a joy to shoot! So, that's my favorite BP gun right now.
I'm saving pennies for an under hammer next. Not sure if I want the H&A 36 or 45 cal... Guess I better get both then!
Ruger Old Army for sure. I even wish I had another one, in Stainless.
But you might be surprised what my 2nd favorite is: A CVA Electra.
They are orphans now, but it gives me great satisfaction to have the ability to bypass the commercial ammo & reloading supply chain, 100.000 % of the time. I brew my own BP, cast my own lead, and once in a while have to go to JoAnn's Fabrics for patch material. Oh and 9-volt batteries instead of percussion caps.
Oh I know, If it breaks, I've got a problem. But it has been rock solid so far. It's hard to explain how satisfying it is (TO ME, anyways) to be independent of the gun shops should a SHTF scenario ever arise. (Or even a bad outcome in November, if you get my drift.)
Tough choice but I have to pick my .45 TVM late Lancaster. The barrel is only 36" and it handles like a dream. It has filled my truck with deer many times.

I understand the concept of "favorite" but, evidently I am too fickle to have one. Usually my favorite is the one I have in hand at the moment. So here, you guys pick.....I can't. Rifles and 20 bore fowler from the top: 36 cal. Southern Mountain, 54 cal. Gary White Jaeger, 54 cal. Gun Works Hawken, 20 bore fowler and 45 cal. semi-custom.

Thanks Whizzer. They're ALL my favorite....lol I can't pick favorites of anything. If I'm handling a nice muzzleloader that belongs to a friend it's my "favorite" at the moment. I love bamboo fly rods and have a few....decent vintage rods but none are anything to write home about, lower tier blue collar rods, and I'm just as fickle with them.

I like them all also, but the Lyman GPR in .54 seems to fit me best, so I would have to call that my favorite. Even have one of them with a .54 smoothbore barrel, and that gets some looks when people realize it isn't a rifle.
