    Core container score

Saturday my brother was helping the neighbor widow lady clean up her place. He called me to see if I wanted 3 5 gal buckets of lead for just going and picking them up, 3 miles.

I said"SURE WILL BE RIGHT DOWN".

When I got there he had 3 plus buckets of small isotope core containers.

Over 300 lbs worth, plus over 200 lbs of lead bricks.

My little SUV was dragging butt all the way home.

She said that there was a cube of lead that weighed over 400 lbs somewhere and when they found it they would call me.

Nice to have brothers that look out for you.

Nice Score! Those isotope containers are usually really clean and make great bullets.

There is a website that lists isotope core hardness based on shape... http://fellingfamily.net/isolead/

And this thread has more information http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...ope-Lead/page2

I wish I had a neighbor like that.
May all your bullets find the Bullseye.

Networking works! The more people that know you are hunting lead the more chance that you have of making a score like this.

My brother in law used to work at a research place in Chicago that used these small containers. From the link above I didn't see any I recognized although a couple were similar. They did make excellent bullets and I was happy to take all he would bring me while he worked there.
