Thumbs up Paper Bowl with holes way to speed up production

Got the idea from here: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...-from-the-BB-s

I glued two together to stiffen the bowls w/ holes part. Used a single one for the lower one.

once tumble and shake pour into top double bowl and raised it a bit with swirling to let powder and BBs drop to bottom one. Not all BBs make it but the few that remind are no big deal

Quick and easy to pick and place bullets on silicone mat then power powder and BBs back in #5 plastic bowl.

Really does make it faster to do this part of the process. Now if I'd stop adding more and different powder to the bowl--really ugly color right now. May pour it out and start fresh.

I do this as well. Some neat colors as the result, and then some really ugly ones!! No two batches I do are the same. Got a nice maroon one time and tried to duplicate it...no such luck!

The powder doesn't stick to the paper. Simply wiping the bowls with a paper towel between colors will avoid "color cross contamination." Note: Mixing well, 1 part black to 2 or 3 parts red will produce a great burgundy/cherry coke/deep brown, one of my favorite bad*ss colors.
There are so many calibers and bullet designs because there are so many different targets... the target is everything.

sorry wasn't clear...I intentionally add the colors and end up with 'ugly.' Not what I was hoping for but still to cheap to throw it out.

Yup, I know what you mean. That's why we've ended up with soo much olive-drab powder coating. We call these our "little army men" boolits.

I sweep up the overspray when I use the electrostatic gun and put all colors in a container. This is what I use when I shake and bake. Usually not that pretty but like Walter I'm to cheap to throw it out. Gp

from today: had Smoke's copper and green color together. did about 600 bullets with the same batch of powder.
At beginning they all were copper with a 'hint' of green
    at end all green
Always cool to see how the color will morf. as I go through a batch of powder
