    Goove depth of Pedersoli TDs

    Any one know the groove depth of Pedersoli trapdoor replica's?

    I think Pedersoli specifications are bore 0.450" and groove of 0.458" which would make the grooves about 0.004" deep. The original Springfield specified a depth of 0.005" but the bore and groove diameter varied quite a bit with my rifle having a groove diameter of .461".
