    Pre 64 M70, cut extractor relief before or after chambering?

    I cut the cone and chamber in the lathe, where it is now, I just finished threads.

    I have a curved mill saw for cutting the extractor relief cut. I would do that in the mill.

    I hate to take the barrel out of the mill after it is all dialed in.

    I prefer to cut the extractor relief last.

    Late to the show, but I would not want any irregularities in the barrel bore to interfere with chambering, so chamber first, cut the relief last.
