    Simple effective Ratchet mod for LAM2

    Not sure if this has been thought of or done before.

    I spent an hour with a file this afternoon filing flats onto the round shaft of my LAM 2 to convert it into a Hex. Mine is an 11mm hex but 7/16 will also work.

    I quick trip to the hardware store and i found a cheap ratcheting ring spanner which does the job admirably.

    I guess I didn’t realize that they all did not have a hex shaft! Good Job!

    Mines round. Used a 6 pt 1/2" 1/4" drive socket with a slot cut in it and a short 1/4" bolt and nut to secure it. No mod needed on the shaft.
