    H322 compared to Benchmark ?

Been looking locally for 322 to try in my 35 rem and for my dads 222 can find any But benchmark is everywhere . I know they are fairly close in burn rate beyond that I don't have any a clue about it benchmark that is . So who here uses it and can tell me how it compares to the old 322 . Is it faster ? Slower? Ect .

    thanks,Tim

Benchmark is slower than H322. Hodgdon distributes both powders. They may have appropriate data for your cartridges in their latest manual. Don't know if that data is available online.

I use Benchmark in the 35Rem and .223 with excellent results. It fills the case + for me and is very accurate.

I buy it by the 8 lb. jugs, and use it in my 223's. Very accurate, meters good, and fills the shell. Can't say for rem 35, as I don't load that.

Is it a ball powder or small stick type ? May have to get a pound to try in the 35 was try to find something between 4198/RE7 and H335 to experiment with .

It's a short stick extruded powder. It meters fairly well. Hodgdon lists loads for 180 through 220 grain bullets. I like Benchmark very much in .223, but I use mostly RL7 in .35 Rem

I have used Accurate 2015 in similar applications, 35 Rem, 45-70, 358 Win, 223; since it became available -20? years. I have H322, like the 2015 better.
