Still consider myself new to this PP thing. I feel like I got sorta lucky last year finding what worked for me. This is all in a 357 maxi. The alloy I was using last year was about a 30:1 mix, and I loved being able to shoot such a soft bullet upwards of 2300fps.

I started to wonder where the line should be drawn to harden up my alloy. What got me wondering this was when trying to shoot some lighter (170gr) pp boolits accuracy never got better than 1.5-2". Curious if I try a harder bullet if I could get these to shoot.

Maybe I just need a lesson in alloy hardness v pressure v velocity for smokeless PP
