Would anyone have interest in a complete steel handled set for .38/.357? The only thing they don't have is the original box. I'd love to trade straight up for a steel handled set for 30-06 (a cobbled set would be fine) but might be talked into other caliber 310 dies, 38-55 might be of interest, possibly even 30-30.

I have a handful of 310/ TL Jr die sets that I'd be willing to trade for your 38/357 set.

    What are these? 30-06 dies?

This may be in the wrong place, if so, please move this post to the right location.
In the original 30-06 die set what was included? I look at my 310 chart and it is confusing; such as were there 3 different length seating dies? I have a 308 die which I believe is a 30-06 neck expander with stem and I have a long 413 die which I believe is a medium length case sizing die. Then I have two stems and a die body. The die body is marked 123 and is about half the length of the longer 413 die. The stems look to be seating stems but one is thicker than the other. Both are so short they would only work in the shorter 123 die body, but, there are no threads in the die body. What do I have and what do I need to complete a 30-06 die set? At some point these dies as a set will be swapped.

Are these Tru Line Jr or 310 dies? Do you have a decapping stem in either die, doesn't look like it. The 123 die is the muzzle reducer and the longest die should have the bullet seating stem in it. You need the decapper die and an expanding chamber with .308 stem.

Left to right, here's what I see:
1 - expanding chamber with .308" muzzle expanding plug
2 - bullet seating die with 413 seating screw (for cast bullets) double adjustable chamber with seat screw (could also be marked 123)
    3 - 123 Muzzle resizer (for 30-06)

below looks like another seating stem and a ?

It never ceases to amaze me the depth of knowledge the wonderfully generous members of this forum are. I believe these are 310 dies, though, I load 9mm and 38 Special on a original True Line Jr. and could be Tru Line. I am open to swap any or all of these. I just hate to see such tools go unused.

They are 310 dies. I would trade for the Truline Jr and the 310 dies mounted on it!

Good catch BrassMagnet, my eyes POPED open when I read that.

OHHHH I am in trouble, I meant I would trade the dies, etc. only the ones that I am asking what they are (the ones in the photos). I am not interesting in trading the True Line Jr setup UNLESS the trade equals what I have so I could continue loading and here's the important part..... the replacements make me drool and pant and make me stay awake at night ( I did that when I was expecting the True Line Jr''s so as you can see, they have a special place in my life).

I would like to trade these sets. One is a complete set for 22 Jet. the second is a complete set for .244/ 6mm.

There are some loose dies: seating #143, neck sizer 6mm, expander 6mm, and a 7/8x 310 die thread bushing.
Hopefully somebody can use these dies.

The 311 expander, #2 priming chamber, and the unmarked decapper are spoken for.
Make me a fair offer. You never know.

If you don't mind a "set" assembled from odd dies we can trade.

    Lyman 310 Swap thread

Dug through and found my 30-40 krag 310 set looking to trade for tru-line sets, something like 44 mag, 30 carbine, or even a converted die plate

I do need a 30-40 Krag 310 set. Shall I start scouting out my TrueLine sets for trade bait?

I picked up a set of 44-40 marked steel handles in a trade a while back that I'd like to trade for a newer set of universal large handles with some shell adapters if anyone is interested. Thanks

If you don't get a trade I have a couple sets of large universal I would sell. Might even have a shell adpater you're looking for as well.
