    Does anybody know if a .222 priming die will work to prime 9mm? I know they are different #'s in the chart but I'm really wanting to prime off press for 9mm since I currently share the reloading room with SWMBO 's office and she has been crazy busy lately.

    I never tried it ..
    222 is #26
    9mm is #12

    I'll check it out tomorrow after work.

    I just tried a 9mm case in my #26 - It's close, but just won't quite fit all the way

    9 mm fits a # 26 priming chamber just fine. Put some pressure on it and it didn't jump out, didn't actually prime one but I'll bet it works.

    Looks like it might be the luck of the draw, depending on case brand and individual tolerances. I might have a spare 26 or 12, let you know in the AM.

    9MM brass case rims are all over the map on size. Too many makers, too many differing tolerances!

    Alright, I'm gonna try this again...

    Things I have for trade:

    1. Traded

    2. Complete caliber specific steel handle set and dies for .38/.357 in pretty nice shape for the age. (this is the steel handles and a 5 die set)
    3. Complete 5 die set and shell collar for .22 Hornet
    4. traded

    And for the Trueline JR:
    5.True Line jr set for .270, possibly never used from the 60's Includes shell holder and priming punch. All in the Black orange and white boxes (4 little boxes inside of the 'set' box)
    6.True line Jr 2 die set (just the dies) for 30/30

    I'm interested in trades as follows:

    Die sets I'm looking for (either true-line or preferably 310):
    9.3x57R
    38-55
    25-20 Single Shot (not WCF)
    Other unusual sets

    I have a .44 Special 310 sizer/deprimer die (deprimer pin broken) and a .38 spl./.357 seating die for trade. I need a .38/.357 priming die and #1 shell holder. Thanks, Kaiser

    You wouldn't happen to have a set of 44-40 dies would you, Brass? I'm also interested in that set of L steel handles.

    Not long ago I bought a large 310 tool and it came with an assortment of dies, what I think is one set.....maybe. Even the box is in remarkable condition. I'll just list what I have and hopefully someone can tell me as I can't seem to find any chart of what the various numbers mean. There is a direction sheet came with the tool but that's all.

    One die is marked 223 REM FL which I assume to be the sizing/decapping die. The priming chamber is a #2. There is another die with a decapping stem that appears it could be a universal type decapper or maybe for a straight or slightly tapered case (?), no number on it at all. Another die has the number 15 on it and appears it could be for neck sizing a case. The last one looks as if it could be another sizing die and is threaded at the top as if to take a seating stem, flaring tool or? There is no number on it either. Any help appreciated.

    1 = 223 full length die -- not seen a bottle neck fl die before -
    2 = #2 PC = 30/06 head
    3 = right universal decap die
    4 = #15 is a 30.40 muzzle resizer
    5 = probably an expander die -- generally about 3/8 thread -- .395 actually -- short, med, and long plus some others

    oops i goofed forgot the pc

    The #1 is a trueline JR die. (the 310 dosn't get enough leverage, but the TLJR does)
