Anybody need the 310 expander mandrel for .270 Winchester? (Stamped 280, mikes .2785/.2820.) Gratis pro Deo. I repurposed the die body, but can't bring myself to just throw the mandrel out. Post here or P/M.

    Spoken for.

Looking for a whack-a-mole style sizer for 32 Remington.

If you've got one let me know what kind of trading fodder you're looking for--brass, boolits/bullets, lead or reloading weirdness.

Just realized I need a priming chamber #14, used for .38-40, .45 AR and .44-40. Anyone have a spare one? What do you need in trade, I have a bunch of 310 stuff.

Well, disregard! I found a new #14 and it does NOT for .45 AR! Anyone using 310 tool to prime .45 auto rim, what PC are you using?

Edit! Looks like I cross-eyed the chart when I said a #14 should work, looked again and I think it should a #17! Does anyone have a spare #17?

    I need a .377 neck expander.
Also, looking for steel handled sets in .303B. .38/55, and .38/56,
Also a solid set of steel handles of almost any cartridge, since I plan to open it up to take .38/56.
I have two steel sets for .22 Hornet, but I sold my last Hornet a while back.
I also have a two die set of Tru-line Jr. dies, NIB, for .30/30.

I may put up my steel set in .45/70 up for adoption, if I sell my last two .45/70's.

I have a 310 expander die assembly, expander mandrel marked .308. Probably suitable for most .30 calibers except .30-06 may be too long. (??). A bit grungy but no rust. Yours $10 shipped in a flat-rate box. No trades needed at this time. P/M me.

I posted awhile back about a steel set of 310 handles They are marked 30-06 but the hole where the case goes through the handle is way to big. About .565
I took some pics to post so you can see the shape they are in and the case hole and die thread diameters.
The pitting you see is not very deep. Only in one small place can you feel them.

???? That's a clearance hole, size doesn't matter as long as the .30-06 case can pass through it. If it bothers you, make a bushing for it.

Did you try threading a die into it? Wondering about thread size.

I examined a steel 270 marked set of handles, and they measure .573 where the die threads in, and .477 where you insert the case. On your handle , they just bored all the way through before threading, and some must have been drilled part way, and left a caliber specific hole on the inside of the handle. Should not be a problem, as the sizing die supports the case well and keeps it straight.

I just spent an hour measuring 310 tool hole sizes. 30-06 range from .4715 to .4760. Die thread is .6075x30 for the medium dies, .652x30 for the large dies.

This set of handles are the standard threading for 310 dies. The larger Special dies won't fit.
The hole is not bored all the way through then threaded.
If you look at the pics you will see the hole is .565 in diameter. The threaded portion is .595.
I've threaded holes before. With a hole .030 to small you can't thread it. No room for displaced steel to go.
With this much play around the case in this hole allows to much misalignment when sizing and bullet seating.

I need a #95 MR die. Some how I've miss placed this piece.

I have a handful of 310 items available and some other "stuff". I'm sure we can come up with a trade.

Let me know what you need.

    Thanks

I've got one for you Scott. I'll have to dig it out, but I think it should be near the surface. Drop me an e-mail.

If anyone has a set for 30-30 including handles, I would trade straight across for a set in 9mm with handles. Not pretty, but the set makes good ammo.
